Wicked Welly Music

Update: I just looked at my site in Internet Explorer. The photo pages are shafted, why did nobody tell me this? Man, that's ugly! Anyhow, download and install Firefox, there's a link at the bottom of the page, and it'll look the way it's meant to, until I find a way to work around IE's useless, craptastic CSS handling.
Update: OK, temporary hack fix in place - people using IE get an uglier version of the site, without rounded corners and whatnot, but at least the photo pages aren't completely shafted any more. Everyone else should still be getting decent layout.
Hollie Smith rocks. Can't find an official site anywhere unfortunately, but some information is available. Saw her at the soundshell in the gardens last night, wicked stuff. More tunes going all month, get on up there if you're Welly based. Most of whom I've never heard of, but I'd never heard of Hollie Smith either (despite having seen her at the Return of Fly My Pretties gig, but never mind) and that turned out well! Besides, putting myself in temptation's path by sitting listening to music outdoors, surrounded by alcohol and friends drinking the aforementioned is sure to build moral fibre. Or at least a sense of being at the top of a slope of moral high ground, while my normal position is somewhere near the bottom, having rolled down there from the top... Eh, ranting.
If you like music, and I know most of you do, then you should check out Pandora.com for a useful tool. Whack in a few of your favourite artists and let it go to work finding similar artists for you. It'll play tracks that it thinks you might like - indicate whether you like them or not to train it and soon enough it'll be introducing you to folks you've never heard of, but sound great. Haven't tried it with NZ artists, but it seems to have a good selection, so give it a go. Side note: I've had mixed luck getting it to run with Linux, seems to have some dodgy flash stuff involved. Oh, and if you want to subscribe (for free) then just lie and pretend you live an American state, as they only let Americans subscribe for some reason. I tend to lie about everything whenever I sign up to anything online anyway, but apparently some people tell the truth!
