How do I find anything on this site?
All navigation is in the top right; you can see the first row (home, posts, photography, etc) right now. When you click on something like photography, which has additional options, another row of options will be displayed at the very top for other areas within the photography section.
If you can't find what you're looking for there, try the search box on the right.
Where's the travel information?
If you're looking for information about a specific city or country, the quickest way is to use the search box over on the right. If you're not sure what you're looking for or how to spell it, start browsing through the regions, countries and cities until you find what you're looking for.
You can also locate any city on the travel map. Zoom in using the standard Google Map controls, or select the region or country from the top left of the map to get their quicker.
For each city, there's some general information then everything else is broken up into places of interest, things to do and places to stay. You'll see these links on any city or location page, e.g. for Trabzon. From any location page you can also navigate to the country page to look at other cities nearby.
Why can't I see all the photos in the galleries?
In summary - only some photos are included in a gallery, but every photo is available if you look at the location. A more complete explanation of what is available where is included in the photography help section.
If you want to understand the structure, it's not very complex.
- Every photo always has a location marked for it, so you always find a photo by looking at the location it was taken.
- Photos sometimes can be included in a gallery. For example, the Photo Selection gallery includes some of my favourite photos, from a variety of places. Most photos are never included in galleries, however, as they're already included in the location.
- Photos normally have at least one category recorded as well; you can see all other photos of the same category easily - there are links at the bottom right on each photo screen for all the categories that photo is in.
