Coochiemudlo Island

Australia Located in Morton Bay, Coochiemudlo is a small island surrounded by pleasant beaches and mangroves. It's a short ferry ride ($AU3.4) over from Victoria Point, which can be reached by bus from Brisbane city. There's not a lot going on here, although I hear that changes in Summer, but it's a great spot to relax and enjoy a laid back pace of life, with warm weather, tropical greenery and lots of local bird life.
