Kutna Hora

Czech Republic Kutna Hora is a popular day trip from Prague, with many trains passing by (it's on the main route east out of Prague). Buy a return ticket, cheaper than buying one each way.
The main drawcard is the "bone church" (see many photos of bones in the collection from here), but you could probably stay out here as well - there are a few hotels around.
