Paksong

Region:
Laos

There's not a lot to Paksong, really; we only realised it was a town when we'd passed through it. Still, it's up on the Bolaven plateau, coffee-growing central for Laos, and you'll pass through it if you head that way.

I didn't spot any guesthouses, but there's probably one lurking somewhere. If not, try the people I bought my coffee from. Just before the road forks to the east of Paksong, there's a cute little cafe serving the best coffee that I had while in Laos - and this place has some damn good coffee.
