Pamukkale

Turkey Pamukkale is famed for both the ruins of Heirapolis and for the white terraces below the ruined city. Despite enormous amounts of damage being done to the terraces in recent decades, the terraces are still a site worth seeing and the ruins of the city are great fun to wander around and admire.
I stayed at a place called the Four Seasons (not these guys), which was good value at 15 lira for my own room w/en suite. No heating, but that didn't bother me particularly; the lack of hot water was more of a problem.
