Raqqa

Syria Raqqa is a reasonably pleasant little town, although you won't notice that if you stick to the area near the bus station. Continue north from the clock tower, off the edge of the LP map, to find a more attractive and lively side to Raqqa.
There's not much of excitement near the town itself, but the sites of Qala'at Ja'abar and Rasafa are reasonably nearby.
