Thailand Up in the hills between Kanchunaburi and Myanmar is Sangkhlaburi, a quiet, relaxing spot, without too many tourists and without much to do but wander around and relax. A massive lake, formed by the formation of a damn back in the '80s provides a home for many now, with house boats and floating fishing platforms dotted all over, although most densely packed in between the Thai town of Sangkhla and the Mon village opposite, near Thailand's longest wooden bridge.
