Sapa
Region:
Vietnam Sapa is up in the mountains in the far north of Vietnam. It's about an hours trip from here to the Chinese border. The weather is great (cold for the Vietnamese I guess, but great for me) and the scenery is beautiful - towering mountains, deep, steep valleys, terraces of rice fields, forests, rivers, waterfalls, it's great :)
