Surfers Paradise

Australia It's a somewhat unnerving place in Winter, probably more so in Summer. Surfers Paradise has more residential tower blocks than anywhere I've seen outside of the ex-Soviet states in Eastern Europe, although I'll grant that the ones in Australia are somewhat more attractive (in most cases).
The beach looks nice enough, and apparently harbours fewer sharks than Perth, but in general I would suggest that Perth has better looking beaches, without all the towers.
