Turkey Trabzon is a surprisingly appealing city on the Black Sea coast in the far North East of Turkey. The main drawcard is the impressive Sumela Monastery nearby, but there are some other sights around the town (although we had no time to see them) and the town itself, with a relaxing town square and plenty of eateries, encourages you to sit down and take your time.
