Things to Do in Zanjan
Zanjan
In western Iran, Zanjan is much colder than much of the country, and was pouring with rain when we visited. There isn't so much to visit here, but it's close to the town of Soltaniyeh, which I've already visited and also not too far from the Takht-e Soleiman.
The Amir Kabir moserfakhuneh is pretty decent value at 100,000IR for a double for the room. Vastly more than the LP, but there's nothing new in that. I think they learnt to double price... Anyhow, it's decent value even at that, with fan, heater, TV etc in a decent size room.
