Hotel accommodation is relatively pricey here; the recommended Sabaidy 2 Guesthouse should probably be skipped, though bargaining hard may see you right. I'd suggest the Fang Soden, at the end of the street to the left when you first cross the bridge into town. Nice gardens, beside the river, still a little pricy but you get your own bathroom at least.

Not a hell of a lot to do here, but you can get to the Bolaven Plateau and 4000 islands from here; I suggest you do.
