Location:Nang RongPrice:100 baht (foreigner)Although not worth a trip of it's own, Meuang Tam is worth adding on to a trip to Phanom Rung. Combination tickets for both can be bought for 150 baht (for foreigners), or it's 100 baht for Meuang Tam itself.

Location:Nang RongPrice:100 baht (foreigner)Phanom Rung is probably the most impressive Khmer temple I've seen outside of Anghor Wat. Situated South East of Nang Rong, on top of a (small) extinct volcano, Phanom Rung has great views over the surrounding countryside and beautifully restored Khmer architecture.

Location:Nang RongPrice:FreeAlthough it's not really such an exciting destination, the ride here is kind of fun. The road here was the second most potholed road that I've ever ridden (that honour belonging to a certain road up on the Bolaven Plateau in Southern Laos), but I found an easier way back.
