Places to Stay in Raqqa
Raqqa
Raqqa is a reasonably pleasant little town, although you won't notice that if you stick to the area near the bus station. Continue north from the clock tower, off the edge of the LP map, to find a more attractive and lively side to Raqqa.
There's not much of excitement near the town itself, but the sites of Qala'at Ja'abar and Rasafa are reasonably nearby.

Bad Hotel

Raqqa suffers from a shortage of hotels, so the crap ones like this can charge whatever they like. 1200 for a three bed room is probably standard in Damascus, but you shouldn't have to pay it here. Unfriendly staff to boot.
Other Hotel

We don't know anything about this place other than the location, but check it out before going to the bad hotel here in Raqqa.
