Places to Stay in Chiang Khan
Chiang Khan
Sleepy and attractive, Chiang Khan is almost laid back. There are, however, hordes of Thai tourists (and a few foreigners), that have come to enjoy the Mekong views and the riverside street packed with cute old teak houses. There's not much to do once you've taken that in, but relaxing beside the Mekong with a book and a cold beer is pleasant enough to keep me entertained for days.

Location:
Chiang Khan
Price:
400 - 800ish A pleasant old French style villa with huge rooms, this is a good place to stay. It's far enough along to be away from the crowds, but close enough to walk down any time you want.
