Places to Stay in Göreme
Göreme
Situated in the midst of thousands of "fairy chimneys", Göreme is a popular destination in famous Cappodocia. The landscape is surreal, with soft rocks first carved by wind and then by human hands into houses, mosques and churches. It's a good spot to hire a bike or just to hike around and take in the scenery. Many hotels also offer the option of cave based housing, which is something of a novelty (although the low ceilings can be annoying).

Decent cave rooms at reasonable prices. Unfortunately no wireless, unlike most places around. Breakfast is pretty basic. Prices may be lower at other times - we arrived near a public holiday, and with someone from a travel agency in tow, and they still came down this low.
Nomad Cave Hotel

Backpacker oriented place, with cave rooms and dorms. Wireless, breakfast included.
Shoestring

Good breakfast, but otherwise the standard cave rooms plus dorm. Has free wireless.
