Things to Do in Tehran
Tehran
Capital of Iran, and capital of mad driving internationally I strongly suspect. Makes me glad to be a non-driver, although pedestrians are hardly safe either. I'm pretty sure that the high road toll here is largely related to pedestrian obliviousness.
There's not a lot of real interest here, and the costs and pollution are worse than anywhere else, so don't hang around longer than necessary.

Location:TehranPrice:30,000 IRROne of the few places still to charge foreigner rates (10 to 20 times the local rates), but definitely worth it. Jewels aren't really my thing, but I'm still happy to waste an hour or two here. Your ticket gets you a free guided tour as well, so just wait around outside the vault door until a guide turns up.
