Diving

Koh Tao is a great place full of wicked people :) I'm now an Advanced Open Water Diver, so I can head down to 30m underwater (which I did for the first time earlier today). Considering how much more diving I should do, it's blown my budget a little... Great fun though.
My camera has died again, so I'm going to get in touch with the insurance company - I'm pretty sure it's the water damage from Songkran. Luckily I got a few before it died, unfortunately I went biking and saw some beautiful spots yesterday that I couldn't take shots of.
On the plus side, I did some underwater photography this morning, so check out the Koh Tao section, or the photo collections, to see lots and lots of them. More than necessary really, I went a little over the top... No captions on stuff as yet, 'cause I'm thirsty and I need a drink, but I'll sneak them in at a later date. For those who keep asking for more photos of me, you can see some of me underwater!
Thinking of heading back to the mainland, across to Burma to cross the border, then back to Thailand with another 30 days. I'll check out other options like extending my visa for convenience, but it seems the done thing here, you can buy "visa run" tickets all over the show, with boat trips, minivans to the border, then back again :D
Medium term, I've now extended my tickets so that I'm leaving Thailand on the 20th of July instead of the 20th of this month. This should give me time to hit up Cambodia (probably a couple of weeks max, no more) and Vietnam (longer than Cambodia) with more time for Thailand and possibly a visit to Indonesia for some diving in a different spot :D
