Laziness

Hmmm, as pointed out by Gabby, I have been rather slack on the whole posting things lately, comments or rants. Today, this has been remedied, despite extreme sleep deprivation which is going to strike down upon me any moment now.
New photos have been added in several different galleries. I must admit though, that the apathy on the posting front merely reflected an apathy on the photo taking front, and such offerings as I give you are not excessively numerous.
So, today I arrived in Prague, 12 hours of sleep depriving train rides later. 12 hours isn't actually that long to spend on a train, I don't really notice that so much now. It is made worse, however, by that 12 hours starting at 00:14 (German train network - very precise - it really did leave exactly then). And just that bit worse again when you have to lug far too much heavy stuff with each change of train (thankfully only two changes). Snowboard is now fully in tow, along with other stuff I figured I'd need here in Europe (including more warm clothing, ah yes).
Already the Czech Republic has shown its worth, its quality. Unlike every other goddamn country in the EU, it has quite an attractive border stamp. Some bureaucrat somewhere must have decided to standardise EU border stamps, resulting in pages and pages of the same stamps in my passport. The Czech Republic has stood up against this madness, and for this, I salute them.
In other news, dawn today was incredible, perfect reds and oranges, dark, menacing clouds, wind turbines, castles and mountains silhouetted against the light. It may well be that there exist techniques for using a cheap digital camera through train windows while travelling at 200km/h in order to accurately catch the subtleties of the colour. If so, I lack them. So no photos, unless someone wants to see some appealing abstract art that could be clouds...
Anyhow, reading the Doctor has apparently put me in the mood to rant. That plus sleep deprivation, I imagine. I did see some signs up advertising some combination of wine and spices that would be available this evening (I type this missive in the basement bar of my hostel), so perhaps that can top it off before I crash into bed.
Oh, and a final plug, knowing that you who have made it this far are the most patient and loyal of readers, and who may do this small favour for me. If you're not logged in, there will be some adverts at the bottom of this page. Please just click on a few of them, I'm almost at the magical $US100 mark where Google actually pays me. Thereafter, I am removing the damn things, no good to me anyway :) Thanks for your help!
