Mud is an underestimated power in this world

Well, I've had a couple of days of reasonable weather and have got some photo goodness for you. I'll summarise my activities, as details are in the comments of the photos. You can just hold the mouse over the miniture photos and the comment should pop up for you now, save you clicking and looking at the mid size pictures if your net connection is slow.
Yesterday, jumped on the back of a moto and checked out a few of the local sites. If the weather's good, I'll do more of the same tomorrow. Sights included the obligatory waterfalls and temples. Plus the crazy house (full story at link - my pictures are in the Dalat photos somewhere).
Today, mountain biking along a track which, I learn after departure, has the nickname "The Mud Track". It didn't disappoint, with thicker, more clingy and deeper mud than I've ever encountered before. Seriously, you go for a few meters and so much clogs up on your breaks that you completely cease movement. We ended up just biking along slopes beside the track where possible instead :D All in all, good fun, and I've got an appetite like nobody's business, so gonna go run and eat soon as.
Further travel plans have not yet firmed up. Mui Ne is a possibility, on the hope that they have sand dune boarding. I know they have some sand dune riding activities, that may be enough of a fix. Looking at photos of the mountains back in NZ is making me itchy...
Otherwise, Nha Trang, I guess. Still don't feel like beach resorts, but I feel obliged to hit it up for a day or so. Probably pass rapidly onwards toward Hoi An, which is soundly endorsed by everyone I talk to.
Another minor site adjustment; those of you who're logged in won't have adverts sitting at the bottom of the page.
Now, food.
