Not So Bad

Delhi dash successful. After initially managing to miss Melia at the airport, we managed to track each other down so now I have company for the next few months, all things going well.
Delhi isn't as dirty and unpleasant as expected. It's something of a relief, in a strange way, to be in a country as heavily touristed as India. English is spoken all over the place (although my very limited Urdu is still of use; Hindi is basically the same, it seems) and even small local restaurants have menus in English. If only we (western tourists) were so numerous that rickshaw drivers and other touts would leave us ago... I seem to have lost my anti-tout aura that had developed by the time I left SE Asia. I'm sure it will return shortly though.
I've been slack on the photo front lately, so I suggest you have a look at Sinfest if you want something to look at. Sometimes cute (as this), sometimes funny, often just stupid, I always enjoy reading it while wasting my time in a net cafe, just to enjoy the air conditioning...
I've been roped into another social networking site, by the way. Thanks to you shysters that invited me to Facebook. Seeing as I'm there anyway, if anyone else out ther is a member, invite me to be your friend. It's all about having the most friends, isn't it? I'm sure that's what it is, there's some sort of prize involved... Anyway, here is my Facebook Profile, hook me up.
Run along and play kids.
