OnTheRoad

So, finally I'm leaving Koh Tao. Done lots of scuba, snorkelling and freediving (just diving down with fins, holding your breath). I think I prefer the last, more of a challenge than the others - I can hit about 15 meters depth just holding my breath. Scares the scuba divers beneath me :D

Added a few more photos as well. Managed to kick my camera in to life, took a few photos, then the thing fell off a rock, then fell down some more rocks... I think it's well dead now, but I'll take it to photo place tomorrow to see how my luck is. No photos for a while anyway, possibly not until I get to Bangkok, where a decent camera can be obtained.

Anyhow, the current plan of attack is to take the night ferry to Surat Thani, skipping Koh Samui and Koh Phang Nyang, and head across to Koh Lanta. I don't think I'll stay too long, although I've had a good recommendation to stay at a place called "Where else?". All I'll be doing is chilling on the beach anyway - much the same as I've been doing a lot of the time here.

So, from there, I'll head north to Krabi, home of the big cliffs and crazy rock climbers. I'll look into the climbing, Keith was pretty keen on the place, but I've got a wicked coral cut on the tip of my left index finger which could be an issue... I've taken the plaster off today, but I've already relearnt my typing and the middle finger keeps coming across to compensate.

Anyhow, north of Krabi, I may or may not bother with Phuket. I'm tending towards heading further north quickly and getting some hiking done in the hills; I'm just about over beautiful beaches with palms and girls in bikinis... Never thought I'd say that ;)

Final words, most of you are using Firefox now, well done; and some of you are clicking on those adverts, cheers for that. At this rate, some time next year, I'll be able to cash out my first paycheck from google!
