Relaxation Time

Back on Koh Tao, ready to relax. The last few days have actually been pretty chilled out anyway, but now I can fully indulge my antisocial tendencies and really do nothing except for lying on the beach reading, eating a little, and sleeping. If I get the urge, I may go scuba diving, but that is by no means certain :)
Hanging out with June and her family has also been good fun. Great to meet her brothers as well, and her mother is soooooo nice! I finally see how it is possible to put on weight in this country, they introduced me to so much delicious food :) Also, my Thai has come back up to speed and with their assistance has even expanded considerably over what it was before. I'm thinking that when I come back next time I should have no problem becoming proficient - and I fully intend that the next time is not so far away, I could see myself living here for a year or two. Here being Thailand, rather than Koh Tao specifically.
With regards to further travel plans, I'm not going to be shifting my dates again, except to move them forward 12 hours or so if I can. I'll be leaving here at the end of the month, scarpering as quickly as I can to Freiburg and from there to the UK for a weeks holiday in the tourist metropolis of Cornwall. Looking forward to the warm beer already :)
Because I'm relaxing, I've also added a couple of things to the website. 'Cause, you know, for me writing code is relaxing. Anyway, this notification email should look a lot more exciting than the old ones. Notification when someone replies to your comment should also be a little more informative. You can now add your telephone numbers to your profile - that's the settings tab you see when you're logged in. If you haven't signed up yet, do so and you can leave your number there. Of course, you don't get anything out of this, it's just that I lost my cellphone and don't have any of your goddamn numbers! Now that I've got a cellphone again, I wanted to get them back again :D
Other things I'm thinking of doing when I run out of books is letting you comment and vote on photos and finding a good way of notifying people of comments to posts / photos if they're interested. For now, the sun is out and I'm heading down to the beach to get some tanning done. Laters.
