So Iran continues to be absolutely wicked. I've been slack on updates due to the shite state of net access here - I've never seen a country with fewer net cafes. Ever.

Anyhow, I snuck up a few photos the other day. Lots of them actually. No comments or explanations though, I'll get to that... I promise :)

Anyhow, in short Iran is cool, the people are great. Looking forward to hitting the main siteseeing spots once my mother arrives for travel, but I have really enjoyed boarding in Dizin. Incredibly good field with really great people all around. Incidentally, I talked to a journalist while I was up there and have now been quoted somewhere online. The guy at the NZ embassy in Tehran said he saw my name in an article this morning, so if anyone finds it, send me the link (net is too slow for me to bother hunting).

I also realised that I've now been on the road for more than one year, so happy aniversary to me! It's been a good run so far and I seem to have hit my stride again; I don't know what it was, but I was terribly lazy in Eastern Europe. Something about the Middle East, I don't know. Anyhow, I'm all action these days, jumping from here to there and everywhere. I've even survived a few overnight bus trips. God I hate those...

So, to the desert I shall go. There may be no net there, so I may not have any luck updating the info on the photos, but hey... we will see what happens.
