The SK Guesthouse is located along the banks of the Khlong (canal) running through Ayuthaya, a block away from the mini backpacker ghetto on Soi Naresuan. The owners speak some English and are extremely friendly and sociable.

The rooms are simple but pleasant, fan rooms with bathroom and cold water for 200 bath/night (single room). Larger rooms are available I think, but I didn't check the price.

The only problem is the road next door; the walls block no sound at all, so get to bed early, as you'll be waking early as well.
