Soft Beach is an easy going backpacker oriented place, located in Tarabin, a little north of Nuweiba town. Many huts are available, with a range of prices it would seem - we paid 50 EGP for a large double, but cheaper options are available.

Free internet is available, including somewhat patchy wireless access. Comfortable seating is available in a few beachside spots as well as in the main restaurant area. Food prices are reasonable - in particular, the pizza is decent and cheap at 20-25 EGP.

Most places in Tarabin are beside a rocky beach, but Soft Beach is well named - the beach here is soft and attractive.
