Travel
The travel map intially shows where I've been, but can also show a lot more information. These hints might help
- Click on an icon to show more information about a location.
- The Info tab will give you some brief information.
- The Extras tab will help you to zoom in and to load photos onto the map.
- Double click on the map anywhere to zoom in to that location.
- Hold your mouse over one of the regions listed in the top left of the map to show countries from that region. Click the country name to jump straight to it.
- The Map, Satellite and Terrain buttons at the top right of the map allow you to see different views of the map.
- Map shows a simplified view, but it displays quickly.
- Satellite displays satellite photography of the map, but it takes longer on a slow connection.
- Terrain shows a topographic view, which gives a great feel for the geography of the map
- GPS information can be displayed as well, although only for Perth currently. Zoom into Perth then click the "Load All GPS" link to check it out!
